Many teams are migrating from ClickUp to other trackers, but YouTrack does not currently provide a straightforward way to import projects and tasks. Users are forced to transfer data manually or rely on custom scripts, which creates a barrier to switching.

In this internship, you will design and implement an import tool that connects to the ClickUp API, maps projects and tasks to YouTrack entities, and provides a simple UI flow for users. This project will give you end-to-end experience with external APIs, data transformations, and building a frontend import wizard.

Requirements

• Knowledge of at least one programming language (JavaScript is preferred, but any will do).

• Good understanding of algorithms and data structures.

• Understanding of REST APIs.

• Sufficient level of English for communication.

• Familiarity with Git.

Nice to have

• Experience working with task trackers (YouTrack, Jira, etc.).
