Help us to streamline the development experience for iOS developers by bringing iOS/iPadOS simulator rendering directly into IntelliJ IDEA and Android Studio.
Currently, Android developers can use in-IDE emulators, but iOS developers are required to use external simulators. This project will unify the user experience for all developers on our platform, improving workflow efficiency.
The primary goal is to build a proof-of-concept, that may be integrated within the Kotlin Multiplatform Plugin.
We're looking for someone with expertise in either or both graphics programming or reverse-engineering. If you have experience with game-cracking projects, please highlight them in your application—we find that experience particularly relevant!
Proficiency in C/C++.
Knowledge of Kotlin/Java, Swift and Objective-C is a plus.
Knowledge of graphics programming (not strict to a specific API, but Metal would be a plus).
(Plus) Experience in using Xcode's toolchain, and related Apple's development tool.
Curiosity over system-programming applications and keen to reverse-engineering.
Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset, comfortable asking any kind of questions and sharing progress within a team.
