At JetBrains, many teams rely on data and shared tools in their daily work – whether it’s for building products, improving AI solutions, running marketing campaigns, managing finances, or tracking sales. Our job is to make these resources easier to find, understand, and use.
As part of this effort, we’re creating SDK documentation for our internal data collection libraries. This documentation will serve as a practical guide for JetBrains developers, making it easier for them to integrate the SDK functionality into the production codebases of their products.
We invite you to join the Data Technical Writers team and contribute to the creation of this SDK documentation.
What you will do
Work closely with technical writers, developers, and other experts from various teams.
Create clear, structured, and developer-friendly documentation for SDKs.
Improve the daily workflow of JetBrains developers by making SDK integration easier and more efficient.
What you will learn
During this internship, you will gain hands-on experience in technical documentation development.
Specifically, you will learn how to:
Write documentation and knowledge base articles using Markdown and XML-based markup.
Apply the docs-as-code approach to writing and maintaining technical content.
Understand different types of content, their target audiences, and their specific purposes.
Interview the experts to gather accurate technical information.
Important:
Good spoken and written English.
Ability to learn quickly.
Attention to detail.

Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Technical Writing, Software Development, Computer Science, or a related field.
Familiarity with markup languages (Markdown, XML, etc.) and version control systems (git).
Experience with programming languages like Kotlin or Java. Knowledge of any programming language is a plus.
As the test assignment for this internship, you will be asked to submit your CV (or complete your profile) and write a short documentation sample.
