At JetBrains, we build tools that help developers write better code, faster. For 20+ years we’ve supported educational initiatives in data analysis, computer science, and software engineering.
We’re looking for a project manager intern to join the JetBrains Academy team and contribute to the organization of different offline and online events and activities for school students and developing the Youth Community around them.
As an intern, you will:
Create and manage content for online Discord communities for high school students with a specialization in Computer Science;
Participate in organizing online and offline educational events — school talks, competitions, and camps;
Contribute to the selection of teachers and company representatives for events and support them before, during, and after the activities;
Design and organize engaging activities for high school students — such as quizzes, quests, and other fun events;
Collect feedback, track metrics, and propose improvements.
A dedicated mentor and a clear growth plan;
A paid internship for 3–6 months, flexible 20–30 hours/week (discussable);
Hybrid setup with occasional in-person activities within the EU;
Access to JetBrains internal learning resources and products;
Potential extension or offer upon successful completion.
Interest in computer science/IT; a technical background is a plus, a formal degree is not required;
Fluent in English with good writing skills;
Abilities to handle multi-task with attention to details;
Strong communication and empathy skills;
Solid organization and time-management skills.
Experience in participating in STEM-competitions (e.g. competitive programming, Olympiad math, etc.);
Experience using AI tools, optimizing and automating routine tasks;
Basic layout skills in tools like Canva or Figma;
Basic analytics skills (formulas, pivot tables); beginner Python/SQL is a bonus.
