Are you a creative person with a technical background? Would you like to help make videos for an audience about the history or societal impacts of various programming technologies, or perhaps document your personal experience with coding and computer science?
JetBrains Academy produces edutainment videos for people learning to code. Next year we'd like to produce more and need someone who can help write creative, engaging scripts as well as produce short-form content that speaks to the interests and needs of young programmers today.
Creative: We value a personal touch in your writing and encourage you to bring your own unique viewpoint and style to your projects.
Critical and Self-reflective: You are able to analyze a subject from various viewpoints and translate that into a nuanced and engaging piece of writing.
Research Skills: You are able to take any subject and find an interesting angle. You are able to scope your research: you know when to dig deeper and when to wrap it up. You are willing to reach out and interview experts.
Writing Skills: You like to write and/or make videos and are motivated to improve your craft.
Visual Skills: You can easily create or find visual aids for (potentially technical) concepts, can write with the visual experience of a script in mind.

Willing to be recorded
and have
