You will join the Data Office and become part of a content team that works across multiple domains, including Finance, Sales, Marketing, Support, Legal, and IT. Our team builds trusted data models and dashboards for internal JetBrains teams, helping decision-makers rely on transparent, up-to-date data in their daily work.

As a BI Analyst Intern, you will learn how real BI systems operate in a large tech company. Your main project will be participating in the migration of dashboards from Metabase or PowerBI to Tableau. This is not a mechanical migration — as the business evolves, you will often rethink dashboards, apply new analytical approaches, and adapt data models to current needs.

During the internship, you will:

• Recreate and improve dashboards in Tableau for real internal stakeholders

• Create and update data marts using dbt when existing data models are missing or outdated

• Work closely with managers, analysts and data engineers to understand business logic and data flows

• Participate in team meetings calls and collaborate with stakeholders during the migration

• Contribute to the Data Governance system, documenting data marts and dashboards to make data more transparent and reusable across JetBrains

This internship is a hands-on opportunity to work with production data, real users, and modern BI tools while building a strong foundation in analytics best practices.

• Strong interest in data and motivation to learn how enterprise BI systems work

• Strong understanding of SQL (joins, aggregations, filtering)

• Basic knowledge of data modeling and analytics engineering concepts

• Interest in or basic experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Metabase, or similar)

• Analytical mindset and ability to understand business questions behind dashboards

• Willingness to learn dbt and data modeling concepts

• Attention to detail and readiness to work with data documentation and governance

• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with different business teams
