Today, we support a global community of over 55,000 startups, ranging from solopreneurs in the MVP stage to high-growth scale-ups with over $800 million in investment.
We are moving into a proactive phase of growth, and we are no longer just waiting for innovators to find us, we are going directly to them. As the primary point of connection for this initiative, you will act as a bridge between these startups and our strategy, helping us define what Product-Market Fit (PMF) looks like for our next generation of tools, specifically around AI and developer productivity.
A unique aspect of this role is the opportunity to work closely with our professional Sales team. You will learn their established best practices and methodologies, then creatively apply and adapt those skills to navigate the fast-paced startup world.
Proactive Outreach & Discovery: Identifying and contacting potential new startups in our key focus regions (North America, LATAM, France and DACH) and key industries (AI, FinTech, GameDev, HealthTech) to understand their technical needs and bring them into our ecosystem.
Customer Success Interviews: Meeting with current program members, from early-stage founders to well-funded scale-ups, to gather qualitative data on how they use JetBrains tools.
Identifying Gaps: Pinpoint exactly what is missing from our current offerings to help us refine our product fit for the 2026 market.
AI Adoption Analysis: Engaging with the thousands of startups using our AI licenses to understand their workflows and help bridge the gap toward long-term paid adoption.
Education: You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Management, Technology, or a related field.
Communication & Empathy: You possess excellent English skills and the ability to talk to everyone from a solo founder to a CTO with "technical empathy".
Tech Startups Interest: A genuine passion for the startup world, venture capital, and how AI is changing software development.
Learning Mindset: A strong desire to learn professional sales best practices and the creativity to adapt them for a startup audience.
Entrepreneurial Spirit: You are a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and excited to help build a new function from scratch.
