Join our Data Engineering team to work on current challenges in the data warehouse that supports product analytics. You will contribute to making data easier to use, improving reporting performance, and automating data workflows.

Your project scope will be selected based on the team’s current priorities, your interests, and skills. Possible tasks include:

• Building new data layers: turning prototypes into reusable, reliable datasets for product analytics;

• Improving performance: reviewing existing data layers for potential optimizations to make analytical queries and reports faster;

• Enabling automation for backfills and historical recalculations: investigating ways to simplify reprocessing when logic or requirements change;

• Preparing data for AI agents: organizing data sources and enriching their metadata to help agents discover, understand, and use data effectively.

You will collaborate with data engineers and analysts, gain practical experience with production data workflows and contribute to solutions used in JetBrains product analytics.

• Knowledge of at least one programming language;

• Proficiency in SQL;

• Knowledge in data infrastructure and pipelines is a plus:

  • Cloud storage and processing;

  • Orchestration;

  • DWH architecture.
